Hmmmm...another post (Holiday Inn tournament) indicated that Memphis Central had all the chances in the world to win this thing (missed layup at the buzzer) Sounds like the guards could not handle the press/zone as needed. The Tennessean has only 2 POINTS total outside Williams/Jenkins/Hassel? Lauren Wasson (G)? Really?

Need to have Tierney bring up the ball!

What about Wilson Central not counting the Hall of Fame game as a loss? Count it when you win, drop it when you lose. LOL. They count the Hall of Fame game one year and not the next. Either count the game every year or not at all! Looks to me like thier record should be 2-1, but maybe thats just me.

Who says it is not a loss?

It is a loss, Press has it down...Riverdale would have something to say, as well as us! :thumb:

WC needs to take it, learn, and go on. This is going to be a long season.

Why count the loss when you don't have to? They know they lost and obviously you know they loss, BUT why promote it when you just don't have to? Come on, Wilson Central isn't the first or last team to do this. They just have the target on their backs for people to complain about the loss.

As for the Cleveland tournament, sounds like Central has their hands full. Good luck girls! Don't let people who put you down on here get you down. You have a good ball team who deserves a lot more credit than given.

Well, hall of fame is up to the coach to decide whether they will count it or not. The winning team gets the credit still so it's not like you won't see it. They aren't the first team to not count losses from a hall of fame game, as someone stated before. It's all about the coaches personal decision don't hate him or call him a coward for doing that it's allowed by TSSAA. From what I've seen on here from last season, they will have it together by the end when it's all said and done. One lost doesn't end your season unless it's in the playoffs! :D

Well im glad to see that MJ fan is still just trying to start trouble when it comes to WC. So what if they dont want to count the loss? As has been said they arnt the first nor the last to not count it. It really isnt a big deal. MJ has its own problems to deal with. Hall of fame Win or Loss, is not a big deal. Good Luck Lady Wildcats in the game tomorrow. :thumb:

ballfan, you got to 'em!

Seriously, I have to agree with mailman...MJ is fraught with problems at 4-0, and champs of the Leroy Wright tournament! :)
