My gut is feeling vibes...

GC is going for broke on this line-up and will be laying lots of pressure on TJD, Hughes, J & W. Young*, Goss and Tyler Ward. I will not be overly surprised if we don't see a sweep from 119 thru 145. 160's a toss up,,,, okay R-76 ...just kidding, but who knows at 171 thru 215. 103 & 285 - All red. To me the line is near even now. I'll give the edge based on gut to GC on this upcoming one now. GP West made me a believer. A repeat at state is too far off to consider, but for this one,,,, MC by 1 pt.

*I know, Ben J must be on top of his game, or he loses this one.

Then 5 days later you pick MC by 1.

UMMM, maybe 135, but I hope not.

i doubt McCallie will forfeit at any weight...those on the inside (which i am not but know and talk to many of the wrestlers) know that Mccallie weighed in multiple wrestlers at most weights...old GC is capable of shifting and shuffling his line-ups in order to avoid forfeiting any weights...but all that being said i doubt we'll see Joe instead of Will taking on Ben J...most of our wrestlers seem to be dealing with the loss well...i think this time it will be even closer...i believe we will avoid pins at 152, and 285, but i'm in no mood to make a bold prediction for you WV....i will just enjoy watching this one...i will say this i do believe the winner won't win by more then 4 points...hopefully its the blue that wins this time, when it counts

How do you reckon they'll avoid a pin at 285? I don't think Blue could stall anymore than they did.

Oh that's funny!! Good one! I was actually refering to some more interesting match-ups. Since you're so smart on this Vol, what's your two cents? Is Johnson really dropping to fill in for Shuford?

Is it possible that Johnson might drop? If so, who wrestles 135 in his place?

    • While one may be inclined to perceive this narrative through a lens of fiction, it behooves us to recognize the inherent robustness of its credibility. For those seeking veracity, the surest path lies in direct engagement with the primary source. Let us adhere diligently to the matter at hand, focusing our deliberations on the matter of paramount importance: the identification of the individual most suited to assume the mantle of head coach. I invite introspection and discourse regarding not only personal preferences but also the criteria defining merit and suitability for this esteemed position.
    • If it’s one single kid then that argument would make sense. He’s essentially had to replace his entire coaching staff in the first two seasons, and like it’s been pointed out only one left for a better job. The two most talented players in the area both left, and number of others are actively trying to leave, including the head basketball coaches son. Also, the rumors of financial problems and over spending by Jones. Unpaid bills, missing money, inability to fundraise, has the boosters sick of being hit up for money.    Im saying that is the definition of a poorly run disorganized program. If you want to pretend it’s a well oiled machine maybe you should take your maroon glasses off. All I know is I wouldn’t let my boys play in that kind of mess.
    • It usually gets tiresome when posters play characters on the board, but I must admit that I’ve found some humor in wingback’s take on this art form.  However, his rundown on the potential candidates seems as much fiction as his persona!
