oliver springs had a hard time making the buckets down low,but the refs.. did not call a good game for both sides. My feelings against loudon is that every team should boycott playing them at home.It is amazing how much trouble comes from playing any home games at loudon.ASK OTHER SCHOOL? I know that SMH and AC had trouble, now OS. How many more ? I also feel that a student section has no business standing on the floor .

I thought the refs did a good job last night in the game. The game was a tight one all night with both teams enjoying a 3 or 4 point lead all night. To start the 4th, Loudon had a 3 point lead and and 8-0 run. Both teams played hard, Loudon just made a few more shots late to pull away.

The crowd was loud and it was a good atmosphere for a high school game. THe only complaint about the Loudon student section is that I wish they were wearing purple and gold and attended OS home games. They stand up and cheer and truely give them a 6th man. OS student section needs to step up!!!!

Coach,

I doubt that your players feel the same way you do about the loudon student section, I know of one player that REALLY doesn't. I'm sure your student section will find your post somewhat puzzling, I know I do.

I agree fully. I don't have any problem with a school cheering their team on but I think they should have to sit/stand in the bleachers like everyone else. A Loudon fan made a comment yesterday about the student section at AC. I was at Friday night's game against SMHS and I saw nothing inappropriate. AC staff seemed to have things well under control, much unlike the atmosphere at Loudon. I say ditto on the boycott until they get their act together.

I too was at the AC game. The student section was loud and enthusiastic, but never inappropriate and always stood within the bleachers. My son plays for Stone and he also commented on the good sportsmanship of the AC players on and off the court. I commend the AC administration and coaches for instilling this in their players and fans. The evening was very enjoyable in those regards. Sure, we would liked to have won and the officiating was questionable, but that is a different story.

All Stone does is complain about the student section and the ref's.....First it was the Loudon game now it is the AC game

You need to learn how to read, Shooter5. We were not complaining about AC, but COMMENDING them. You are obviously a Loudon fan who was not at the game Friday night. Yes, there were questionable calls, but that is part of every game, on both sides. The ONLY school that I have heard anyone in this forum complain about is Loudon, not just by SMHS, but several other schools. Let's face it, Loudon has a terrible reputation.

Shooter5 you really DO need to read things more carefully. I was NOT complaining about the AC student section and players; I was giving them a compliment. Defensive attitudes like yours only can cause problems. When things are going nicely, leave them alone. There was no reason for you to bash Stone.

the officiating was questionable......I don't understand do you not complain or yell at basketball games....Just because we have chants and cheer for our team does not make us a bad place....Do you not yell at players, officials, or for that matter anyone....I was at the Loudon game and i heard tons of Stone fans yelling Three Blind Mice to the officials, in my opinion i think that is WRONG also....Don't get on here and talk bad or discuss boycotting the Loudon games, everyone has their own faults or does something wrong....Yes i feel bad for the kid that was injured and i hope nothing but the best for him....But come on and grow up don't get on here and talk about how much better the students were at AC than Loudon...I had someone tell me that was at the AC game that the Stone fans were pretty Loud and were yelling non-stop....I think we should boycott the Stone game because i think they were out of control....Come on it happens everywhere.....Good luck the rest of the year see you in the tournment

Shooter5, come on now. Don't throw me into the pile. I was only trying to be positive(which is something this board needs once in a while)by commending AC. Not once did I down Loudon.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
