  1. Yes, the rumor is true...Pryor DID beat up a teammate and was taken away in handcuffs. The fight occured in the locker room after the game. Saw the arrest with my own eyes.
  2. Stone beat AE tonight. Way to go Panthers!!!
  3. Does anyone know the All-District teams?
  4. Someone needs to check on that because I've heard that Catholic did not pick #1. /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />
  5. Zack Sherrill hit every free throw. I'd go to him in a clutch.
  6. If Stone has to move up it won't happen until next year.
  7. Oh I'm not saying that Stone doesn't have their work cut out for them, just that hopefully teamwork and making needed adjusts will be enough to win.
  8. If Stone's guards play as hard as they have been playing and don't have many costly bad passes, they should be able to handle any of Carter's guards. Stone's posts have played against several "big men" this year and have been successful against most of them. The key to Stone's success is teamwork. When they play like a team, which is most of the time, they are hard to beat. Good luck Panthers! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  9. Congrats to all the players and their schools. It is most deserved. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  10. Look, I too am not a Ben Everett fan after the wrist breaking last season, but in all fairness and sportsmanship I must say that I don't think Ben meant to kick Fox in the nose the other night at Stone. I happened to be standing right there next to the action. Both players went up awkwardly and in the process of coming down, Ben was off balance and his leg flew up as Fox's face was coming down. I certainly don't think it could be controlled. He even talked to some of the Stone players after and expressed his concern that everyone thought he did it on purpose. Yes, last year was uncalled for, but maybe Everett has learned from that and has been better this year. Let's let the teams play the game they obviously love and let comments from people like redskin_nation roll off our backs. It's not worth it. Go Panthers!
  11. I hope so. Go Panthers! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  12. Stone better step up the defense tonight with Zack Sherrill out of the picture. He was a key defensive force at their last meeting.
  13. Too close to call. It's extremely hard to play at Catholic. /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />
  14. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Stone Memorial beat Loudon at Loudon 78-62 in OT. Way to go Panthers! Good game Redskins.
  15. Way to be positive! There is no need for talk about payback. I like that you talk about your team and then compiment the other team in some way. Both teams play hard.
  16. Zack Sherrill and Tyler Crowder from Stone Memorial
  17. I don't know who will win, but I'm looking forward to getting into district play. I have to say that I hope the panthers win.
  18. Welcome back Tyler!!!!! Tyler Crowder, Sr. QB who has been sidelined with a broken collarbone, is projected to play Friday night. Win or lose, we panther fans are excited to have that young man back on the field where he belongs. Go get 'em Tyler! Go Panthers!!!!!!
  19. I'm with you buc1973. I wish people would try barking up a different tree for once. This has gotten old. How many ways does it have to be explained? Find something else to whine about (preferably something that's true) and leave the athletes at Stone alone. /mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />

  23. Lady Panthers, it has been a GREAT season full of exciting moments. Congrats for making it this far and I hope you go on and win State. Thanks to all the girls for making the game soooooo enjoyable to watch. Thanks to the outfield for your great throws to home, to our fantastic infield for stopping the opponents in their tracks, to our catcher, Kayla, for stepping up and being more than a freshman and for always entertaining the fans at homeplate, to the hot hitters-always a thrill, to Lauren Brown for always keeping the game under control and out of the batters' hands (most of the time), and to our K Man who has warmed our hearts by placing K's on the fence for every Brown strikeout. Let's not forget the loyals. Those loyal fans who have followed the team all over the state of Tennessee and have braved many different weather conditions, from cold, rain, heat and anything in between. A big thank you to the coaching staff for coming together with one goal in mind: State. To the parents: You have every reason to be proud of your daughters and you should be commended for your never-dying support. Good luck Lady Panthers! /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
