You guys from UC are wrong if you believe that you have some one to stop Copelin. Last Tuesday the only way he was stopped in the paint was b/c HE missed a shot. Too Big and physical for the Tornadoes post players. You can talk it all you want and even make excuses of him shooting layups, I would be ashamed to say he beat us back on layups that many times,he definitely is not the fastest guy on the squad but his numbers against you guys tell the tale. Anyway I was not dissing UC in any way, I have alot of respect for their squad, who has defeated LC twice so far, but I do not feel they have a post player. That is my opinion from seeing them play against LC twice. I watch Copelin have his way, when we gave him the ball down low, in both games. Good luck, see you guys come tourney time.

 

 

 

Well, all I was saying was.......I would take Pat Polk over Copelin any day of the week. I'm sure Copelin is better offensively than Polk, but Polk has better defense and he also is better suited for the State Champion Tornadoes.

Tubby Smith, Bruce Pearl, Oliver Purnell, Seth Greenburg, Paul Hewitt. Pretty good list of basketball minds. All of already offered Carter a spot. The question was "Who is the best player in A" not who is the most productive player in A.

Seth Skogan is really good and #42 from Van Buren is also a really good post player, he scored 31 on us last night, he is solid

Matthew Cunningham for Perry Co. is pretty solid. He has scored 125 points in his last 4 games averaging well over 20 points for the whole season. He has done a great job helping this young team find ways to win.

Carter has struggled with consistency. One game he will look like a million dollars and others he will look average. When he is on he is the toughest player to guard not only in single A but in the state.
