No team in 7AA can matchup with White House at all to be 100% truthful. They have way too many options for the teams in this region. I remember watching this summer White House and L.A. and Gaines didn't play (football) but Dunn and their whole team played, cause they had already been eliminated from the playoffs. Anyways, Barnes guarded Dunn in the 1st half, and I promise he did not have 1 F.G. attempt in the entire half. He is very good and averages 20+ points a game, but he couldn't get far enough away from him to even get a shot off. I know all you L.A. fans are gonna say they have gotten better and so forth, but so has White House. Anything can happen on a given day, but I don't see them losing again for quite a while.

If you could read good, I said anything can happen, but no not a very good one.

I realize that you said anything can happen, because I can read ''good''..ha

I was just going from the majority of your post, not just the last line you threw in there because you have your doubts about White House winning the region.

Hey, finally a little respect for this region. CoachT has White House at #9 and Livingston Academy at #10. Today's AP Poll has White House at #10 and Livingston Academy at #11.

I think that White House will win this one without too much trouble. Livingston isn't that good when Dunn is contained. They shouldn't cause too much trouble for White House. I would be worried about Upperman before i was about Livingston.

I'm wonderin why our schedule strength is so low, I've just noticed this. White House has played Union City the #1 team in A, David Lipscomb, Sycamore, Haywood, Upperman, Mt.Juliet, Station Camp twice, Beech, and will play Beech again but yet it's ranked 92nd. I think them are some pretty good teams compared to the schedules of teams that are higher than 92nd. Maybe i'm crazy

Example 1, Loudon: has played L.A. and Austin East twice. And no one else.

Example 2, Spring Hill : has played Giles Co. twice and that's it.

Example 3, Pigeon Forge: has played Alcoa and that's it.

    • Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.
    • Maryville will recapture the loses from last year against West, Bradley and Farragut. The Bearden game will be the tough one but I look for the wheels to come off that ride somewhere down the road because of all the crap that goes on there. I know to many parents there and some of the things I've been told and some of the post a few of them have made on facebook. They all can't be liars.
    • If Heritage moves down and Alcoa moves up the best thing for Heritage is to do what William Blount did when theystopped playing Maryville or meet certain defeat. Honestly can't see Alcoa not moving up the way the county is growing. Might be in the Mountaineers best interest to stay in 5A because none of those teams on their schedule are anything close to Alcoa.
    • I say over as well. Barney, regarding the move to 4A, will the cross-town blowhards move up as well??
