hey, mustang brandons opponent wore tights. i did notice the leg was dislocated but a full severance from the body was hampered by the extra nylon.

where is everyones opinion about the tourney????????

ok, agreed with wolves craig as ow but wouldn't have been surprised with mustang ryan, who rolled through 52. thought the semi matches were more exciting than the finals. the dragon fell short needing just one match between 71 thru 15, couldn't get it done. wouldn't have thought that would have happened.

btw, love the new technology of camera/video cell phones. they allow you to catch parental units in the stands cheering on their sons with, "in your face germantown". wow, you think "way to go son", "congratulations on a great match", "i'm proud of you", "great job", polite clapping or just saying yea, has been replaced with "in your face".

what do you think, anyone for a pic?

LOL ,, Ok Ok I know I need to apologize for being to over the top, you may not know how much I invested to push my wrestler over the edge this season and maybe I got to caught up in the comments on this board in my case hit a button or two.. I was under alot of stress and I shouldnt of said what was in my head outloud.

I apologize for some of the passionate displays/comments but not every one of them.

Believe it or not take me out of the Wrestling gym and I become a different person.

These were my thoughts this morning and can be found on my blog... the people that get on this board and the bad calls that are made have impact on young minds.

Just remember that,, those of you few that judge and run the wrestling show in this town just remember that, don't take these kids dreams to lightly or all the hard work they put in especially those boys that after practice train some more...

Congratulations to all the boys that made it through the battles and overcame the calls.

My son may make me remove this later but..

I sit here in front of this computer thinking about my son, who will inevitably walk out of my life and into his own.. very soon he is 18 now.

I think about tonight when he faces opponents (wrestling) and others.. that wish him to fail.

The ingredients I am filled with are anxiety, pride and hope.

I think we all can agree that life is about alot of little things that make up a human being and one ingredient can counter another just like in a good recipe.

I hope today god is in charge of the ingredients that make my son a honorable, confident man and blesses him with the resolve to perform to the best of his ability as a wrestler, a man and one day as a father.

I love you Zack.

Perhaps if you cared to not spin the story, you would quote my later post simply stating: I never thought he couldn't do it. I've known he already beat Rogers twice during the year. It was merely a prediction. I also said I would NOT underestimate him. I understand you're proud of your son, as I would be also. I think that's the end of it, unless you want to continue to point fingers and start controversy over.... nothing.

No sir not spining controversy.

If you look at the post above where I responded to usfjim?

I had alot invested ask me in person and I will tell you the lengths my son went to prepare this season, considering his condtion that amplified my reactions.

Just proud he reached a goal.

I understand what you're saying. I understand the sacrifices WAY more than you know. I've seen hundreds of wrestlers go through the same steps. Obviously, I'm not trying to lessen what he did because they were all champions of some sort. Congratulations to all of the winners.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
