Scrimmage Weekend for Marion Co.

Marion Co Warriors looked good in scrimmages in Shelbyville Friday night. The first game beat up the host 17-2 ,maybe this is why they are famous for walking horses and women basketball. Bettis looked good on the mound and seemed to keep his focus in his first outing. The bats were clicking as well. The Griswald gang, Sam and the Z-boys seemed to have got lost on the way but they made it just before sundown. The cool nightcap was against Lebanon and the score was 12-5 and it really was not that close . Bell worked in and out of trouble but did a good job in his first outing. Hitters looked good and for the most part aggressive at the plate. Lebanon home of the famous Cracker Barrel may have found a lot of future dishwashers and cooks......

You may want to mention that it was shelbyvilles JV team before you get a big head on you and remember it is preseason

Lebanon won 7 - 3. Both teams started sophomore pitchers. Both have lively arms. The pitcher from Shelbyville is going to be good. He had a little control problem on Friday though.
