The Riverdale -Goodpasture game ended in a 1 to 0 win for Riverdale. Cat pitched in the pouring down rain, when it was Goodpastures turn to pitch, with Riverdale on batters three-four-five ,Devon 's dad asked the coaches to not pitch Devon as he did not want Devon to pitch in the rain. The Goodpasture coach ask the umpire and our coach for a forfeit , which was given. We played four innings. The coach says they told him it was an official win.

That request wouldn't fly at many schools. Certainly won't at the next level.

Doesn't Goodpasture have another pitcher?
