QUOTE(eaglekeeper2 @ Mar 5 2007 - 08:40 PM) 826401193not centennial... haha, brentwood will go in as the favorite, but ravenwood or independence could challenge for that, as well as overton.

you could've just continued this on the other topic dedicated to 11-AAA, but yeah....brentwood

QUOTE(rebelj @ Mar 6 2007 - 10:34 AM) 826402058You should believe in Franklin. You guys got talent.

i believe in our team. its truthfully hard for me to say anything though right now because I'm out and watching doesn't really give me the same evaluation of the team as i would get practicing with them. I know brentwood is stacked, so I am going with them right now, trying to be as unbiased as possible. As the season progresses, I might change my opinion.

QUOTE(OSUSoccer @ Mar 6 2007 - 07:24 PM) 826402737well centennial has got a great coach in sandy pollack..who do they have player wise this year?..anybody?

It's going to be interesting to see. We graduated the majority of our team this summer, but we have alot of young players that could potentially make some noise.

Centennial was very good when they had Cal Long and Patrick Rummel. Who do they have good now and will they be improved this year?

Stephen Bohlen (JR) is definitely going to have a breakout season. And new goalie Scott Williams (SO) is getting better every day. As far as improved, its gonna depend on whether or not these younger guys step up. Guys like Harrison, Jason, DC, and Matt left big holes to fill, but as long as our guys step up and play consistent, we have a shot.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
