How do you beat another team in a scrimmage if it is a scrimmage? Coaches are working on execution of plays, see who fit where on offense and defense, who can make plays as well as blocking and tackling, find strength and weakness, and how the team functions as a unit. It could better said, "Mt Juliet had a very good scrimmage against Greenbrier."

Mt. Juliet should do well this season and be at or toward the top of the Region 6-4A with Clarksville, Springfield, and Rossview.

Score more points than them? Scrimmage results can be measured in many ways...for us laymen the number of points scored by each team relays a subtle message regarding the relative strengths and weaknesses of the competing teams. Some try to read too much into scrimmage results, especially spring scrimmage results, but there is some value to knowing the 'score'. Perhaps it wasn't really a score since it was just a scrimmage?

QUOTE(coach763 @ Apr 9 2007 - 10:36 AM) 826432958[/snapback]I do not know!!............contingent sounds like something that you would put on a "skin rash". From what is being posted by these Region 4 "gurus"..........this WAR could be a slaughter for us. We appear to have become the resident "bottom feeder" again or maybe unc4life could be on to something; maybe we are a "skin rash". /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />

Good to hear from you again!

You must have been on too many canoe trips. Contingent, that may or may not happen; possible or happening by chance.
