Liberty hit the ball well, every starter had at least 1 hit on the night. Shawn Selph was WP in game 1 with Josh Lindsey pitching last 1 1/3. Alex Marbury was winner in game 2. Liberty blew both games open late with the help of defensive lapses by Halls and NS. Liberty scored 3 in first inning of game 1 and got off to a 2-0 lead in first inning of game 2 on a 2 run Homer by Matt Haynes and never trailed in either game.
