FARRAGUT VS. SOUTH DOYLE this thursday

The Final was Farragut 2 South-Doyle 0. Jake had a nice shot off a corner and ben had a pk that was kind of a bad call. Neil Johnson for south-doyle had a great shot when Farraguts keeper was out but it hit off the post. Congrats to Farragut on being 2-0-0 in the district so far it was a good game considering the awful weather.

I saw this game and it was a very hard faught battle between the two teams. Farragut had a few oppourtunites in the first half that it didn't capitalize on but credit to South Doyle on a good game. I would however not say that the PK was undeserving b/c that was one of maybe a couple takedowns in the box that i could have seen resulting in PK's that didn't but on the other hand South Doyle had a take down in the second half that was very close to being called a PK but wasn't. King of the Burbs is right in saying that South Doyle is going to be a contender for Districs this year. I think they were somewhat underestimated comming into this game but they showed they could hang with farragut out on the field. Congrats to Farragut though on the nice win.
