QUOTE(Stinger65 @ May 4 2007 - 01:07 PM) 826451726[/snapback]Keep working hard. Things in 1A football seems to be up and down. I can remember when Mt. Pleasant was pretty much a joke. Hrdly won a game. Their Middle school team would go undefeated and their high school team wouldn't do much. Now look at them, the best team in the region and one of the top in the state.

Keep working hard!!!

how long did it take mp to turn into a winning program??

Mt. Pleasant went from 0 - 10 to 8 - 4 to 12 - 1 in three seasons. The difference in MP and Zion is that MP had the talent in school already, just had to get them on the field, Zion just doesn't have the enrollment yet. Every kid in school would have to play and have decent talent for you guys to compete. If you guys compete in 6 1-A with the numbers you have everyone else needs to take a hard look at themselves. Absolutely no disrespect meant here. It's basically like Vanderbilt in the SEC. They only have a certain talent pool to pull from so every now and then they compete but they don't on a consistent basis. When you get the enrollment up you will compete.

that not exactly true, CA doesnt have very many enrolled either, they're usually not fighting for the championship, but fighting for the 3-4 spot

CA hasnt been fighting for a 3 or 4 spot since yall had that really good running back a couple years ago, and CA has atleast doubled the enrolment zion has...zion has around 150 in the 9th-12th grades

ca had the 3rd spot on lock last year if they would have just beat huntland, they lost and it made them 5th place and out of the playoff race... when they had the good rb they were fighting for 1

    • To be fair to the head coach, he may have submitted his roster of players to the AD and the AD with the help of a counselor checks the academic status of each player then submits to the TSSAA.  Some coaches do not submit eligibility status on the TSSAA portal
    • Has does the AD still have a job at the school. Someone had to submit eligibility rosters to the TSSAA before the season starts.  That’s usually submitted by the AD along with head coach.  Someone submitted the ineligible student and was listed as eligible.  That will come out soon as it can be checked on the TSSAA portal who submitted the eligibility status of all players.
    • Your lucky, my head hit my desk….. desk is fine.
    • This is my ranking, not computer generated. I factored in how poorly that region competed in postseason play…which is why Loretto and LC didn’t make the cut. Loretto is probably 11 though.
