I have no doubt that 19:27 will go down or that the 20:08 in the case of MC's usual 5th runner will go down. I also have no doubt that there plenty of teams in A/AA whose 5th man is sub 19 if not better than that.

did u ever think that those 3 D1 private schools have better coaches, a better system and better work ethic than ur public school. if you think there is a large talent pool at USJC and FRA you have mistaken. they just work hard

You really know nothing about how high school coaching/teaching works. Private school teachers/coaches get paid substantially less in most cases than do public school teachers. There are plenty of private schools that must drive to practice, just go to Vaughn's Gap or Steeplechase anyday after school.

 

And unless you're in a county where there is one high school you can usually pay to go someplace else. And a kid can't just say oh I go to CPA right now but we have no chance of winning state so I'm going to move to Lipscomb this year since they won last year. Barring extreme circumstances he would have to sit out a year, something most kids are not willing to do solely for sports purposes.

Considering that alot of private school kids have been going to their school since Kindergarten do you really think that as 4 or 5 year olds, private school kids were thinking, man i want to go to FRA or some other school to run cross country. seriously
