A STANDING OVATION FOR BRADLEY ,CLEVELAND AND WALKER VALLEY HIGH SCHOOLS. ALL THREE HAD IMPRESSIVE SEASONS. WHO KNOWS, MAYBE IN A COUPLE OF YEARS, ALL THREE MAY BE IN THE SAME DISTRICT. MAN, WHAT COMPETITION THEN. TALK ABOUT RECRUITING NOW, JUST WAIT. GOOD LUCK GIRLS ON THE NEXT LEVEL YOU PLAY. WE'LL BE WATCHING AND READING ABOUT YOU.

It will be at least three years before Walker Valley can be elgible to enter the district with Cleveland and Bradley. And in order for that to happen, Walker Valley's enrollment must increase by around 300 students within that three years. IF and WHEN that does happen, I see it being a great district. But, buddy, don't kid yourself about the recruiting. It can't get much worse than it is now, at all three schools. None are any worse than the others. The softball teams at the three are pretty equal right now though Bradley and Cleveland seem to have a monopoly on the other sports right now. Look for things to slowly change though.

SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG TO RESPOND TO YOUR ANSWER, BUT, I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE RECRUITING THAT GOES ON NOW, AND I HAVE BEEN AROUND THESE SPORTS FOR MANY, MANY YEARS AND I REMEMBER WHEN TSSAA GOT INVOLVEDABOUT 31 YEARS AGO ON TWO SCHOOLS ABOUT RECRUITING. ONE OF THE PLAYERS INVOLVED IS NOW A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESSMAN IN THE SOUTH. SO, I KNOW ABOUT THE RECRUITING. I WATCH IT IN THE SUMMER IN BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL. WE'LL HAVE A GOOD TIME WATCHING THESE HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL DO THEIR PRIVATE RECRUITING THROUGH THEIR OUTSTANDING SUMMER COACHES.

    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
