Sullivan Central-Lee High scrimmage

How did things go? I've been trying to find out how Lee High looked but haven't seen or heard anything yet. Anyone know how the teams looked and anything else?

Central won 28-12 lee highs defense held central in check for the first coupld series but then gave up a couple big plays and opened up the door for central

Starters score was 3-1 Central. If I was a Lee High fan though I wouldn't be too concerned. Got inside the 20 twice and wasn't able to score. That fullback #45,quarterback #11,and defensive end #44 are all good ball players.

no it was 4-2, central threw 2 tds and rushed for 2 and yea i agree number 45 is a beast

No, I am assuming this is Lee County high school in SWVA. I think Lee was formed around 1987 or 1988 by consolidation of Pennington Gap, Keeokee and another high school that escapes me. I am sure there is someone in here that can give you better info than me.

I'm assuming the fullback was Michael Rutledge (also plays linebacker) and the qb was Tyler Mullins. I say assume because of the different numbers.

 

And you are correct 83SouthRebel, it's Lee High up in Lee County, Va. The school opened in '87. 5 schools were apart of the consolidation, Pennington, Jonesville, Keokee, Flatwoods, and Dryden....hence the name of their stadium, Five Star Stadium.
