OK Guys.......the poll is officially over. With 126 CoachT fans voting, the info shows some suprising results......

 

1. Does Maryville play a traditionally hard regular season schedule?

59% of CoachT Plus members that voted said.....NO!

 

2. Does Maryville have competition in the 4A playoffs?

66% of CoachT Plus members voted that they DO have competition in the playoffs.

 

3. What one matchup would you drive to go see in the regular season?

 

Brentwood Academy won this decision by a vote of the CoachT Plus voters, beating second runner up, Riverdale by a landslide vote of a 26% margin. The interesting part of the vote is that less than 4% of the voters would drive to see 2006 5A State Champion Smyrna take on Maryville, and less than 2% of the voters would drive to see Maryville's regular rival in the State Championship, and the 2006 4A State Champion Runner Up......Hillsboro play them. Another interesting showing is that Oak Ridge, who will possibly be in Maryville's same region in 2009 was a distant 3rd place with 17% of the vote. BA recieved almost twice as many votes as Oak Ridge regarding who fans would drive to go see.

 

Out of over 100 voters, I believe this poll was a success. It shows that CoachT plus members want to see a Maryville vs. BA matchup. The first two questions were really irrelevant, although it was interesting info. The real reason for this poll was to see who fans want to see in a game. By the sound of CoachT board members, this game would be HUGE! As it will not happen this year........we should do one more poll kind of like fantasy football.........Maryville vs. BA. Of course.....this poll means absolutely nothing, and is just something to talk about on the board.
