Everyone seems to assume they will divide NW,SW,NE & SE. I would think they would go West, Midwest, Mideast & East. You start on one side of the state and move toward the other. When you get 8 teams you form a quadrant. Might look something like this with the most recent standingsand they might swap DCA and Goodpasture.

Team Quadrant Region seed

Cumberland Gap 1 1 1

CAK 1 2 2

Rockwood 1 2 3

Gatlinburg-Pittman 1 1 4

Alcoa 1 2 5

Happy Valley 1 1 6

Loudon 1 2 7

Sweetwater 1 2 8

Goodpasture 2 5 1

York Institute 2 4 2

Tyner 2 3 3

Westmoreland 2 4 4

Boyd Buchanan 2 3 5

Smith County 2 4 6

Cannon County 2 4 7

Bledsoe County 2 3 8

Hickman County 3 6 1

Stewart County 3 7 2

Lewis County 3 6 3

Camden 3 7 4

CPA 3 5 5

DCA 3 5 6

Harpeth 3 6 7

Richland 3 6 8

Westview 4 8 1

Booker T. Washington 4 9 2

Milan 4 8 3

Carver 4 9 4

Peabody 4 8 5

Huntingdon 4 7 6

Jackson Christian 4 8 7

Westwood 4 9 8

By definition...a quadrant is 4 sections intersected to two axes. That would mean ne, nw, se, sw.

If it were the way you say...it would be sections...not quadrants.
