BGA@Baylor

Baylor needs a victory bad and if they do not win against BGA they will have five (5) loses in a row. Baylor should win but can they win, do they know how to win. They lost a game against McCallie (I had too see on TV) after what looked like a sure victory, all because the powers that be for Baylor wanted QB Massey to score the winning TD. CleaRLY the RB Pickett was in place to run the ball in against a tired and confused McCallie defense, by the way Pickett had ran off consecutive runs against McCallie's Defense, but Baylor never went back to him /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" . If Baylor wants to win against BGA they best open up their offense to include others players.

I could not agree with you more. All we had to do was give the ball to Pickett and he is in easily. Now if Massey was healthy he scores. But his leg was injured and he was limping all over the place. Baylor should have won as anyone that saw it knows. But 2 qb sneaks with a qb on basically 1 leg killed us. That is what hurts...we lost it for ourselves. Baylor should get a win against BGA....by 7.

BGA is flying under the radar here. They are much improved over last year's disappointing year. They have beaten the teams they were supposed to and are one 4th quarter collapse from being undefeated.I like the underrated Wildcats in this one.

I think you are right about BGA flying under the radar--although the schedule has not been as tough as Baylor's they are 5-1 with some good wins. If Massey were playing, I think Baylor wines by 2 Tds. Without him, I smell an upset in Chattcity.

    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
    • I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
    • Lieutenant Flip flops is on a roll. #1 recruiter in Anderson Co, fo-sho.
    • Has there been any effort to contact college coaches other than Trevecca?
    • 5star put out and article about the QB competition for Clinton like they have 9 other schools. They listed a QB that was previously on Powell’s roster last year. He was the Frosh that could throw great wearing number 5. He was not mentioned as a transfer.  HC was quoted in getting two running back transfers one being from OR that has been mentioned on these boards as well as another from TKA.  I had heard about these and more transfers. It is impressive that Clinton is able to steal away from the recruiter at Powell.  I wonder if the issue with the principal will change that or open the gates even more.
