jimbo44
TN Elite won by three, 67-64. The best game I've seen this month.

This was a great weekend of basketball and if you'd like to see more come to Lebanon next weekend for the 14's and 15's.
smith101
Who were some of the players that stood out at state? And who are the teams picking up to go to nationals?
jimbo44
The number 22 stands out in my memory. S. Mullinax #22 TN TOP GUNS(McMinn Cent)and #22 A. Shields WEST TENN RUNNING MUSTANGS( I think Memphis Melrose) caught my eye earley in the tourney. The point for the NIKE team #1 A. Phillips ( I believe OakRidge) looked like a WNBA playmaker in the finals. I don't mean to take away from players that I've seen in reg. season action from Shelbyville, Riverdale, Oakland, Coffee co. Cookeville, or Celina; they were surperb. In the finals, neither team substituted, they reloaded. Such was the caliber of the talent. National qualifiers are the top three. ref. blynwile post this thread 6/3/02 title: Top Four. [Edited by jimbo44 on 6/4/02 1:15A]
