Sport Shop/Blackhawks/Mustangs

I was in Cookville Sunday afternoon and saw two great games. In the 13 under age group the final game between Sport Shop and Blackhawks was as good of a game you will ever see. Both of these teams should be proud of their young ladies cause everyone of them gave it all they had. The whole game was a game of runs, one would get up six or seven then the other would come back and get up four or five. The Blackhawks came out on top by four in the end but look for these two to meet again in the Nationals.

After you didn't think you could get any better than the 13 under final the big girls came out. How many times will you ever see ten D1 signee on the floor at the same time and when they sub they just brought better players in. It was also a great game but in the end Sport Shop came out on top by around 15. It was a great game of basketball and look for all four teams that I got to see on Sunday to finish up in the top 10 in the nation.

How did Ashley Shields look for the Mustangs and who was running point guard for them (name/number)? This year's junior class (Sr's next year) will have a lot of major D-1 signees, at least in our area and I know that middle tennessee is supposed to be loaded,too. Most of the girls who will sign pretty big are on that team. I talk to them all the time and they are starting to narrow their lists down and I'm hearing schools like Louiaiana Tech and Mississippi State and a few other SEC schools.
