McNairy Central at David Lipscomb

It's rare to see but in the opening round of the playoffs two of the more high regarded coaches in the state will lead their teams against one another. Tommy Browder's McNairy Central Bobcats are a #4 seed but they are not your typical #4 seed. At 8-2 they are a good football team that is rolling into the playoffs fresh off of a 28-6 drubbing of Region 6-3A Champion Fayette Ware. Coach Glen McAdams David Lipscomb Mustangs are 9-1 and rolling. They ran the table in Region 5-3A virtually un-tested the entire way. The Mustangs are one of the prohibited favorites to go back to Murfreesboro and play in the Blue Cross Bowl. THIS SHOULD MAKE FOR AN ENTERTAINING CONTEST!!!!

It should be noted also that McNairy beat a very good Dyer County team. This one could be closer than the experts think.
