I think Antioch wins this one, just too many athletes. But if Indy plays like they apparently did against Gallatin, then who knows. Should be a good game.

Hville-

AHS has too many athletes, huh? What is Indy playing with...all-stars from the HHS chess club? Give me a break dude.

Two posts after this one you say Indy can win if they contain the dual-threat QB. Make up your mind homey.

I agree this kid is GOOD, and so is the big WR he zeroes in on almost every play. Do you think these two can beat the Indy D by themselves...good luck with that.

Come out and watch the Indy Nation on Friday...it's not like you have anything else to do.

Sounds like a little bit of a stretch to me. I think this game comes down to IHS's LB's being able to contain the Antioch QB's running ability. The corners have been playing excellent and should be able to take away the pass from Antioch, but dual-threat QB's have done some damage against us.

Everyone, including myself, thought Gallitan's dual-threat QB would do damage to the Eagles but we seemed to have corrected our problems that plagued us when attempting to stop Becker and Krow. Yes, my prediciton is 38-21 E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES. How many of you Antioch fans are coming down to the game?

I can only hope the team isn't letting the hype get to their heads. One win over a pretty bad Gallatin team doesn't mean anything. You don't win playoff games just by walking out on to the field. What either team has done in games leading up to this one really doesn't matter one iota. This WILL be a hard fought game and I believe it'll be decided by less than a score. Coach Woodward is many, many moons ahead of Gallatin's staff when it comes to game planning and I'm sure he'll have his team ready to play come Friday.

The Mill Creek All-Stars are long gone...Indy wins this one BIG!!!!

Woodward is one heck of a coach no doubt, but there is only so much he can do. The only way AHS has a chance is if Indy lets them hang around till the 4th quarter...which I don't see happening.

I'll say this again to everyone who didn't believe me last week in the Gallatin thread....IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE CLOSE

Did you even read my post homey? I picked Antioch because their QB is too good for Indy to stop IN MY OPINION, if Indy CAN find a way to stop him then they win, I just don't believe they will. I gave a way that I thought Indy could win, I never picked them.

P.S. If you just focus on the WR, you're gonna find out about good ole' Mike McAdoo.

I started to read it, but then the tune to Gilligan's Island popped into my head and I started thinking about Ginger and Mary Ann.

P.S. McAdoo is ready for basketball season...

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
