From what I have heard these 2 young men have alot in common..very respectable, leave it on the field, play their hearts out and are true leaders. Good luck to both of these young men.. Represent 2A... Turn it Loose Moose!!!

Dont know his defensive stats, but he played the game of his carrer. He had to had 15 tackles easy last night.

Let me say from the outset, I am a big Goodpasture fan. We have seen some very good football players this year as we have played a tough schedule. But I have to say, Horton is one of, if not the best defensive football player we have seen. Goodpasture's offensive line coach told me after the game that he made plays on sweeps and counters off the sweeps. His coaches had a good scheme and he executed it very well. He also told me that even when they had him blocked, they could not keep him blocked. Coach compared him to Bart Hicks, the linebacker from Alcoa. Most of us on the Goodpasture side are pulling for the Moose from Camden to win the Mr. Football award.

Thanks fanman...I have to agree, Chase is something special on and off the field. If anyone deserves that award its the MOOSE!

Congrats to the Moose.

A well deserved award to a player I watched play

last Friday with a lot of passion and intensity. He

made plays all over the field. At one time I thought

they called his name out on about every tackle in that

series when Goodpasture had the ball. Defense is his

calling. He will make some college a top notch LB.

Good luck from Goodpasture.

    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
