Tennessee High vs Volunteer

Just got home from game, Tn High really struggled against a team most good jv teams could beat.

 

Big 9 should be very interesting this year!

Tennessee High must improve in the post or they will not win the Big Nine. The two guards are fantastic, but you will not go far in AAA without a post presence.

Volunteer is not that bad of a team. they have really good chemistry and work really hard. so they might not have all the talent in the world but if they keep a good head on their shoulders i feel they will surprise everyone. TN High is like ranked no.2 in east TN under Greeneville. and Volunteer last night was in the lead as much as 9 points in the first half. i am tired of people talking about how bad volunteer is. i believe this year all that could change.

Volunteer did hit a couple of quick 3s to get a lead, but they can not handle pressure defense. They stayed in game because TN High starters got in foul trouble playing aggressive defense. A lot of the game was played against subs.

 

I am not calling Volunteer bad that's just how I saw the game.

 

I have a lot of respect for all high school atheletes that put in the effort to play at that level.

I strongly disagree with you on that. I'm pretty sure NO jv team can beat them this year especially if they play like they did last night. You must be one of the people whose family member plays for another school besides vhs and seen that the school your family member goes to MAY BE IN TROUBLE because the volunteer lady falcons are a diffrent team this year. I'm tired of them getting put down they are gonna surprise a lot of people this year and i cant wait. DB better watch out because if vhs plays like they did last night THERE MAY BE TROUBLE FOR DB!!!!!!!!

i agree with you tn high is 2nd in east tn and i thought vhs gave them a run for their money. And if you think about it vhs was also missing their starting post Laiken Gillaim who i am sure when she returns will help the team out! Volunteers chemistry this year is GREAT and they are gonna surprise some folks!

Very true, they struggled against Volunteer which basically played 5 guards.

 

If either one of TN Highs guards gets in foul trouble, they will struggle.
