This is a huge game tonight, this game sets the tone for the eventual district champion.

Something that will be fun to do there tonight will be to keep up with the total amount of fouls called and at the final buzzer, see if they are higher than the combined total points of both teams. Should be close. I will take the fouls by 6.

Central takes Tellico by 30 and the officials didn't let me down either!! Total fouls were.....drum roll please.......38!! I hate it when I'm am right! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Tellico has a pretty good team but the bench strength of Central was way too much. Tellico only goes about 7 deep where Central goes 10 deep in their rotation and flat out wore down Tellico. The foul situation didn't help them either.

I thought MC was off their game a little. Lambert seemed like she was hurt, an did not dominate like normal. Tellico was a good team, I also thought that depth was the difference.

Central was a little off. Poor passing and way too many turnovers. Tellico is a good team but I think they were playing a little afraid. Central did what they needed to do by not allowing the three's and driving the lanes. it did not help Tellico any with their big girl in foul trouble. It was scary on the 1st shot by Cole.... about a 40 foot 3 pointer, but they shut her down. I overheard Lambert tell her parents that she was having pains in her leg all night. Maybe thats why she was off her game a little. but when you have most of the team in double figures, what is the other team going to do? Im sure it may be a little closer AT Tellico.

    • Who’s going to lead the pirates offense this year?
    • Pickett is good, may have a Mr. Football like season if he’s used correctly. One of the best teams Marion has fielded in a while. I think they go 12-1 and loose to ER.  ER has better players at almost every position. If they play discipline this year, they win soundly. If they don’t though…Marion could sneak away with it.
    • I’m betting the house on the Indians. Pickett and Co will be the only team to challenge the Indians in the East. Huntingdon can in the West. I think Brooks goes 15-0 and has the first perfect season and state championship in ER history.
    • Sounds like a great opportunity has opened up for the football team.  With the head coach of the diamond rebels making it official and quitting this week, there should be some room for the gridiron guys to benefit. I assume the administration won’t continue paying six figures to two former coach that quit to continue teaching drivers Ed. Thats pretty good money that could be redirected toward the football program. Also, with the more recent policies of pushing kids to only play one sport, abolishing the baseball program altogether would help on Friday nights in the fall. There is some decent speed on that baseball team that should’ve been playing on Fridays IMO. I’m not sure if anybody would really miss that baseball program anyway with it being across town from the school. The liability of letting players actually use the facilities could also be mitigated with closing the program. That liability seems to be a really big issue for 825. Anyway, it seems like a great opportunity is available.
