QB stands apart like a Lone Oak

Robinson goes from unknown to unmatched

Football fans in far Western Kentucky might have known about Corey Robinson a year ago, but after throwing for a national-record 90 touchdowns this season, the Lone Oak High School quarterback has attracted attention from across the country.

 

Averaging 6.4 touchdown passes and 402 yards a game will do that.

 

Robinson has completed 362 of 483 passes for a state-record 5,631 yards with only four interceptions, and Lone Oak is averaging 53.2 points a game. His 90 TD passes are astonishing when you consider what other well-known quarterbacks, who starred in college, did in their best high school seasons.

Well, amazing stats for sure, but I wonder just how good the teams he played were. Seems like no Div I schools have really called yet though. Weird...

Corey Robinson went to USJ when he was a freshmen then moved to Lone Oak High School in Kentucky....I knew him, and I think Eastern kentucky is interested in him as well

90 TD's is quite a feat, however having been at the game where Lone Oak played Obion Central, he played in the game until about four minutes left in the 4th quarter. Final score of the game was 59-6.
