Seems like they are just beating each other up.. Is Lexington head over heels better or just got three wins early? And what are Lexingtons strengths and weaknesses?

The district is down this year. Everyone except Bolivar and Chester Co lost their top players from last year and I believe everyone is pretty young this year. Southside was the favorite among the coaches this year but they have been getting beat pretty bad this year. I don't know if they have injuries though. All the other five teams have played each other close. I have only seen Southside play but I hear Lexington has some post players but their guards are not experienced. Lexington lost to Creek Wood 48-35 last night. I predicted McNairy to win the district because they had Markita Cole returning and I believe she was probably the preseason favorite for District MVP. However, she has been hurt and has not played until thursday. McNairy has won both games since her return and they play Creek Wood tonight. So, this should be a good measuring stick for the region tournament. This district is a five team race.

With Southside winning big over Bolivar this has now become a race which any team can win. Southside lost big to Chester and McNairy but they have played alot of teams especailly Northside close. So, they have been a hard team to read. It is going to be really important to get the 1st or 2nd seed to get a automatic bid to the region. The 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5 games look like they can go either way.
