Looks like BA is the favorite to win the D-II State Championship in 08. The number of high school teams in Tennessee that are playing with four D1 prospects next year can probably be counted on one hand.

Hard to downplay the talent that BA has on next year's team. They actually have at least two to three more D1 type players that will still be underclassmen. The 2008 Eagles will be the most talented BA team in the last 5-7 years or so. If Nelson improves at QB as much as he did over the course of this past year, watch out!

 

Having said that, the 2002 team had 11 starters that went on to play either D1A or D1AA football, and still lost the State Championship.
