First there is Division 1 scouts at all the Nike games, so they are not there just for Kayla. Why would anyone be jealous of Christopher? (I don't even have a child that plays ball, could see being called jealous if I had a child playing and Kayla was better or getting more time, but my child has graduated from college now. We just travel and watch the games. ) If she is as good as all the O.S think then we will see, when she signs her letter of intent as to how good she is?? There are alot of great players in the state that don't get recognized because of coaches not putting forth the effort to get there name out there, not reporting stats to knox news and so forth. But lucky for Kayla her mom is the coach. So once again we will see who she signs with.

Rarely will I go into detail to argue with the village idiot. I'll make an exception in this case

Also, take into account Kayla led here Middle school to state championshhips. Also, she's been a starter and leading reason on why her AGE group in AAU has been one of the dominant teams in her age classification. She players on older age groups in AAU? Why? She's that good.

Also, she's been to 2 state tourneys as a freshman and sophomore at Oliver Springs. Currently, she's averaging 22 points per game as a junior playing one of the toughest Class A schedules in the state.

Also, no one has ever stated OSHS doesn't have other talented players. The roster is full of outstanding players in Hall, Barger, and so forth. OS's tradition and expectations of having outstanding teams always producers a roster full of girls who expect to win districts, regions, and most importantly with the goal of a state championship.

I think 22 needs to retreat back to the circus where he belongs. It's obvious the clown outfit has no use for this board.

ok first off.... the only thing you are doing when you get on here and run your mouth is making yourself feel like a complete ######. Is christopher the most outstanding player in OS? Yes. Does she have a good providing cast yes. The A and B teams do not really exist. In that age group maybe. But the B team as you call it are all juniors. people who playing ahead of where they are suppose to. Someone needs to research their facts. And kayla as a top prospect in the state of tn not oging on class here ya go.

Without Lashay Davis-Upperman and Erin Helton-Cookeville, your list is bogus.

You must be living under a rock, Laken Leonard plays for Jackson Co.

Thats an Awesome ranking of Rising Prospects when Faith Dupree is listed as "Clinton Anderson County" considering she is entering her second year at Webb and they won a State Championship during her first year.....thats a list I would put a lot of faith in...very well researched.

However, Christoper is awesome...but you shouldnt quote a questionable ranking to prove it. If someone needs a list of rankings then they

A. havent seen her play and cant have an true opinion

or

B. Have seen her play and if they still dont believe then they have no idea what they are talking about and you cant prove it to them otherwise

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
