The Hixson Lady Wildcats go to 24-0 for the season today in the Region 3 semi-finals versus Bradley Central at Galaxy Bowling Lanes in Cleveland. Pinfall totals were 3,352-2,642.

 

The Lady 'Cats were led by Kayla Carnes 665 (195, 224, 246), Allie Chase 641 (211, 205, 225) and Stephanie Bledsoe 552 (182, 149, 221).

 

I do know the girls bowl Soddy Daisy for the Region 3 championship and I will post the results tonight.

Hixson was led by Andria Aurand 682 (277, 170, 235), Allie Chase 666 (206, 247, 213), Stephanie Bledsoe 637 (237, 221, 179) and Kayla Carnes 599 (186, 201, 212).

 

During the finals, the Lady Wildcats may have set a record for girls high school bowling in the state. Pinfall totals for the match were 3,675-3,014. I'm not sure I have heard of another higher pinfall total for girls and keep in mind that this was in a strange house.

 

The Sectionals are Saturday at Hixson.

No, that is the boys finals.

 

The girls final was Hixson 3,675, Soddy Daisy 3,014. Score was 25-2.

john overton did good this year they are a young team with 9th and 10th grade team..with avgs around 200's steven is a great bowler and he is only a 10th grader...there is a black guy on john overton that has a great form and is looking to be in state next year...overton is going to go to reg maybe state next year,, page and chs is loseing alot of there players...overton only lost 2 key players and they got alot of young ones coming up..but look at it this way with the 2 high avgs on johs team is a 9th grader with a avg of 204 around there and a 10 grader with a avg of 213 around there that is crazy...steven good luck and this is DAvid from overton
