Who are you refering too as CA? Clarksville Academy who NCS beat by 23 and 7 or Cascade who they beat by 17 and 7. The second game the Elkins kid played the frist half and they were up bye 20 or something and then didnt play the second half. I think he had the flu.

 

Isnt the only think that matters is the W in the end? Are you tryin to say they didnt WIN by enough? It is possible not to play well or to shoot well one night. Have you every played at Clarksville Academy that might be one of the worse gyms to play in with everything echoing (spelling?) off the wall.

 

You cant say who the best teams are anyways it really doesnt matter until the end. Look where the Patriots are after dominating the whole season. Being the best team doesnt garuntee a win.

 

I think Culleoka is better than MBA anyways and they just didnt happen to play well the night I saw them play. NCS is a good team and should beat MBA if they played.

NCS won by 23 the first time, with 9 people scoring, including 4 freshmen. If all the freshman scored, then Coach Anderson played everone, a lot. In the second game, NCS was up 25 after 3 quarters, then lost the fourth 17-3, again playing freshman and sophomores. Again, 2 freshman scored. I would call that having a good coach that does not want to run up the score, lets starters rest for the remainder of the season, and is letting people play to plan for the future. Final margin of victory means nothing.

I think our district has had a team in state for the last two years. East Robertson and East Literature.

nah...were in the top 5 and i could really careless about the rankings because those guys have no clue what there talking about for the most part...im just giving you the facts so there wont be any disappointment down the road....good luck to you guys and hopefully we see each other at substate so we can see who really knows what there talking about

Everyone keeps bringing up the strength of schedule, I'd like to shed some light.

NCS is the 100th toughest schedule in A, which is not very good I'll give you that. However look at the other "ranked" teams that have been mentioned on here:

 

Union City 60th

Moore Co. 63rd

Culeoka 72nd

Summertown 82nd

Manassas 93rd

Lake Co. 96th

 

Yes, they're better than NCS's but it's not like they are playing so much better competition. So why are these teams "on another level", but the teams they play aren't necessarily better? I'm not saying that NCS can beat all the teams mentioned above, but I am saying that maybe the teams are closer than people think. I guess all I'm really trying to say is, just because NCS has only played 2 teams with winning records doesn't mean they have had a much easier road than the other teams.

 

Also, goos luck to all the teams in the District and Region tournements.
