4 divisions...3A, 2A, 1A & Private then.

How about 3A, 2A, 1A...all public schools

and one private school division for a total of 4 divisions.

Each has its own state championship.

After 4 state champions are crowned, have a playoff of these 4 schools for a super state champion.

Then each division would have a champion and each division would be fair. Extra revenue would come in from the super championship.

As long as the private schools play by different rules, it will never be fair for the public schools. It just is not fair that private schools can draw from anywhere.

I like that idea...we could also have a 3rd place game if teams were intersted...the champions would have to be seeded fairly...maybe through random drawing or something like that..that way the privates dont always play the 3a every year and the 1a and 2a dont always play.
