Dyer Co beat Crockett Co soundly twice this week. I think Milan and Westview split. Anyone know the rest of the area results so far this week?

Dyer Co. and Dyersburg are looking tough this year... Not sure about anyone else in the District haven't got a chance to see them!

Dyersburg beat Obion Co. 15-0 on Monday. Yesterday's game was postponed.

Dyersburg - 1-0

Milan - 1-1

Westview - 1-1

Update: Obion County is 4-4, 0-1. They are struggling with errors once again, but have improved. JV and freshman teams are doing well at 5-0 and 4-1 respectively.

I have yet to see Dyer County thus far, but Dyersburg is strong. It is way too early to know what will happen, but I would say Dyersburg may be the favorite to take the district this year. Their pitching and hitting are very strong. Always hoping for an OC year, but realistically they may be a couple years from making a strong district showing.

Thanks for the update on the Rebels! I'm glad to see they have picked up a few wins and are improving. Hope you and some of the other Central fans can add some scores and games to the scoreboard on here, to keep us on track.

 

It seems like Dyersburg and Dyer Co. are the early favorites. The Choctaws return two of their top pitchers and leading hitter from last year's team that made a state tournament trip, but have lost a couple of one-run games so far.

Dyersburg is gonna have Childress starting tonight but not sure about tomorrow.. How about CC, I'm sure they'll be starting Campbell or do u think their saving him for the home game?
