Boo Williams query

Does anybody have any news on how the Tennessee teams are doing in Hampton, VA at Boo Williams (Best of the Best)? Also, just for the record, how can we find out how the Showtime Shootout went, even though it's old news now? Any record of scores anywhere, anybody?

I know that the TN Flight Trotters won the 14U at the Showtime Shootout. I think the 16U Memphis flight won the 16U but I am not sure.

The Tennessee Flight Navy defeated Memphis Flight 16's Miles in the semi-finals and then went on to defeat Memphis Flight 15's Pruitt in the championship of the Showtime Shootout.

The 16u Memphis Flight (Miles) went undefeated in their pool at Boo Williams. They beat the 16u Georgia Pistols, 16u Tennessee Flight (Navy), and the 16u Garner Flames. The Miles team could not play the final game due to a conflict with their flight out. The Garner Flames played the game since they came in second in the pool. They played the 16u New Heights from New York City to overtime and then we had to leave for our flight. I heard that the game ended when one of the teams had to leave for their flight. The Miles team had a 17 point lead in the 1st half against the Garner Flames. The Flames came back within 6 and then the Miles team pulled away for a 15 point lead before basically gliding in for a 9 or 10 point win.

 

Although Flight (Navy) was the same team that beat Miles in Shelbyville, don't read too much into the defeat of the Flight (Navy) team when it comes to thinking about the State Tournament. Flight (Navy) will be a very different team at States with the addition of great players like Jasmine James and Jamilla (forgot her last name, but tall and athletic).
