Jasper Warriors spring football

Old Pirate heard the warriors had started practice some time ago, but haven't heard anything about how things were going for Coach Boeck and his band of warriors.

Gee... no hope, Old Pirate's teeth just about jumped out of his mouth just trying to say that. Old Pirate did catch that grand sons name yesterday on coacht. OP trys to keep up with ALL those old pirates big or small,young or old. Let him know OP is a fan.

Spring practice had its normal ups and downs last month. The Marion County Warriors will be an improved football team this fall. The new found discipline and work ethic is evident as a new sherriff is in town. Within the next few seasons, this new sheriff will also achieve Legend status. Once the baseball players join the team this summer, it will only help make the transition to the new offenses and defenses easier. There are several Living Legends that are still currently playing baseball for Marion that totally missed spring practice. Rest assured that these Living Legends will greatly improve the team.

From what I heard at the Bama camp this weekend Jasper has gone away from the spread and will be getting back to a power running game from the I or pro I. I wouldn't be surprised to see some veer or option also. We will see in a month or so
