Hixson 5 - 1 winners over Marion Co. Green winning pitcher for Hixson. Bettis took the loss for MC.

Green was more than the winning pitcher. he threw a NO-NO against the mighty warriors. which in 14 inn. brings the hit total against hixson to 1.

so much for the back to back champs. hixson will struggle tonight against ND and the Legend.

The warriors also lost the first game of district last year an still won so dont count your chickens before they hatch an the warriors have already won back to back in 06 07 this year will be a 3 peat if they can pull it off

Congrats to MCHS for beating the Irish and then a great comeback win against the wildcats. i guess the fans are right. there is a reason they are back to back champs. should be a great game tonight. two good pitchers throwing for each team for all the marbles. the warrios bats woke up last night, cats are still swinging it well. if the errors continue for the cats id say marion will walk away with it. if the cats can play d it could be a great game. either way i think these teams will meet again for the region
