I am a AAA follower from Wiliimamson County and I am seeking what other people think about Beech, MJ, Brentwood and Ravenwood and who will advance to state.

Here's what I think Beech and MJ will be who moves forward. Brentwood has only one strong pitcher and they have had to ride her hard in the season and in post season. Brentwood has some good athletes and have the history of doing well in post play but Friday, will be the last time the 2008 seniors step on the field as the will be eliminated by the mighty ones from MJ, they have the pitching, solid defense and some big game hitters that are just waiting to whack away at Brentwood.

Beech will probaly run rule Ravenwood, don't pay money for this one. I watched Raptors play tonight against Brentwood and they have some really solid athletes, solid pitching with big game experience. Some power bats with slappers to set it up for the runs. The biggest problem other than coaching for Ravenwood is that they come from the same weak district that Brentwood does, and they do nothing to prepare for the big game. If Ravenwood coaching staff would make it their goal to work hard and practice and seek true competition throughout the season I belive they may have made it to state. But not this year, maybe they will get the this coach to resign too. Seems to be a growing problem in our county. It appears all you have to do in Williamson County is start talking about a coach and boom like magic they are being fired or "asked to resign". Too bad they can not figure out the good ones from the bad ones.

Beech does not have a one or two. they usually split games to keep their opponents off guard. even if they had #1 why save her, you would not have to pitch again until tuesday. Beechs coaching staff will never take anyone lightly and will put the best 9 on the field.

If MJ bats do not help Shelby out then brentwood has the hitters and the defense to win this game. Ravenwood could win if pruitt is on. remember anything can happen in a one and done game. should MJ and Beech win yes, but could they have one off day, one missed pitch, one error in a tight game? I think all four teams have a chance to move on.

Do not know anything about the ravenwood coaching staff, but when we played them in a playday, they appeared to be well coached.

They are all strong. I am a Pruitt fan, she has the experience to do well in big games. My point was that MJ and Beech should win, they have the over all experience upper hand on Brentwood and Ravenwood. Yes any team can be beat any day. I wish them all well and look forward to figuring out how to take 8 hour lunches next week to see the state tournament. Just an observation/opinion.

I hear the plan is to pitch Beech's number two against Ravenwood to save number one. Hope thats not a mistake that costs the ability to move to state.

You know unless you have seen all of Ravenwoods games, I'm not sure you should have a opinion on their coach, if you don't even know Beech has 2 really good pitchers. Some of you people kill me. Do you not think there family or kids may read what you write. Try to think about that before you run with your opinions.

    • Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.
    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
