East Ridge Express '93 Win State Cup

The U 15 girls Express '93 team won the Division II State title Sunday in Hendersonville Tn. The team went 7-0 in league play and came in as the number 1 seed. They went undefeated in their 4 games at the state cup, scoring 14 goals while only giving up 2 goals. They won in the Championship final vs KFC Orange out of Knoxville 2-1. The team will travel to Columbus Ga to represent Tennessee in the President's Cup June 13-15. The team is coached by Andy Wishart and the assistant coaches are Andre Rado and Mike Indovino. Members of the team are Ami Crawford, Heather Daniel, Kathryn Healy, LeAnne Indovino, Amanda Jones, Mary Cabell Kelly, Anna Marie Mayfield, Nicole McKinney, Laura Patty, Kaitlyn Rado, Brianna Seagroves, Stephanie Shipley, Grace Shaw, Meghan Spears, Hannah Squires and Lisa Swearingen.

Yes they will. The team has really played well together this year and coach Andy Wishart is one of the main reasons. The girls have really gotten along extremely well together and we all know that a team that likes each other (especially girl's teams) play well together. It's been a great ride so far this year and we hope to keep riding the wave of positives for this team and hope to make some noise at the President's Cup in 2 weeks.
