girls portland wins. katie legge won with a 76. laura parrish placed second with a 84.

 

the legacy is a very tough course. scores were a tad higher than expected, but hey congratulations to station camp on their district championship. macon was a close second and move on. portland failed to win its third consecutive district championship, but live to play another day and try to improve and advance to state. greenbrier had several individuals to move on they are a good young team just a tad inexperienced. congrats to portland girls on their fifth championship in six years. dynasty! the region is played at legacy next monday. the other district plays their tournament tommorrow i look for dekalb, jackson, and livingston to advance with denman and robinson as low medalist

Dekalb did win the district followed by Jackson and Livingston. Gold Medalist was Austin Garrett from Dekalb.

Played at Cookeville White Plains Golf Course. 299 score. I think they have a very good chance at another state appearance. They have played the Legacy before and some of them have played it several times. They are used to hard courses. They play at Riverwatch during the season which is a challenge to almost anyone. Jackson 315 and Livingston 320
