Shake-Up in this Week's Jackson Sun Dirty 12

After reading today's Jackson Sun, I noticed Union City goes from unranked to 11th after a 21-16 win over McKenzie. McKenzie goes from 4th to unranked along with Crockett County and Hardin County! Hardin Co. went on the road to take on the Brighton Cardinals and looked good in defeat yet gets surpassed by 2 teams (UC and McKenzie) neither of which could beat Hardin County! With this logic who can predict next week's top 12?

Do away with all polls, especially the AP high school poll. They don't mean jack. Most of the voters are guessing about teams from opposite ends of the states. And those who waste votes for homers are the worst.

This poll has been discussed ad nauseam.....

 

It's not a "poll" that says Union City would beat anybody in the poll...It says that in their opinion Union City is one of the best 1A teams in the area..I haven't seen the poll so I don't know how many other 1A teams are on it..As discussed at length on many other threads started because of this poll it's not really the best way to do a poll but it's the way they want to do it....

Honestly, I did not know that JCS was in the Dirty Dozen this season. It would of have to have been early on if they were. Except for box scores on Saturdays, I don't use The Jackson Sun for most

of my football information. I have better sources! LOL

IT SHOULD BE A TIE FOR #1 WITH HENRY CO AND MILAN!!! They are both great and shoul be rewarded for it. We all have differences and that is mine. oher than that who cares just put all AA teams in order maybe put liberty and southside in there somewhere.

The dozen does not rank teams based on "head to head". Anyone knows a strong 4A team will usually cream a great 1A team. The rankings reflect area teams results within their peer group. Like all rankings they are sujective.
