Bri
Any observations on the Hume Fogg - McGavock game? Ask you know who Monday who kicked her. /mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" /> Other than that, Hume Fogg had a rough time overall. Not enough ball handlers & no height inside. Hume Fogg is very scrappy though & came out strong.
doctorno
This is a bit off topic, but does anyone know how "On The Ball" magazine comes up with their stuff? Have you seen the basketball issue? It's a joke. First of all, half of 9AA isn't even covered. Second, the "favorite" is David Lipscomb and the 2 other teams "in the mix" are CPA and Hume Fogg. I'm a Lipscomb fan, but come on, anyone remotely associated with our district (or who did even a little research) would know that most folks are picking East Lit. as the favorite with DL, CPA and Hume Fogg fighting for 2 - 4. What's up with that? /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
NumbersDontLie
Did Anna Mitchell play tonight against Father Ryan? Did not see her name in the box score.

Read the editor's note in the beginning of the magazine- it explains the hows and whys...but kudos to those who were mentioned- they have earned it. Now everyone in 9AA work you tail off and prove the critics wrong!!!!!!

Popcorn901
Does anyone know about MLK, PC or FRA? Evidently the 9AA thread has gone "dark"....but the light will begin to shine next week as CPA and HF square off and FRA takes a shot at East Lit. Surely someone will have a comment before or after these games!

flatline17
Does anyone know about MLK, PC or FRA? No clue about MLK and PC, but I have seen an FRA game, and they are young but very, very talented. They start an 8th grader and 2 sophomores if that's any indication. NumbersDontLie
Marshall Co. 61 East Lit. 46 Thought our girls played a good game tonight, down 6 going into the fourth quarter. Marshall Co. is well coached and Lauren March is a great ball player. This was their 21st win in a row. This is a top notch program.
