I do believe that both of these guys turned down D-1 offers in other sports. Bowers in baseball and Patton in wrestling.

I am a parent of a RIVERDALE baseball player LOL i know all too well how good he is at baseball which is why i want him to focus on football lol

lol ah i see. i was like woah woah woah i know how this kid plays baseball and i have seen him play football as well. my kid playes against him in school baseball and against him in travel ball as well and that kid plays some serious ball when it comes to baseball!

The funny thing about it is he is also a decent basketball player not a superstar but decent I stated in a post a long time ago he scored 42 in a middle school basketball game his 8th grade year and I think he could have helped the high school team on the defensive end of the floor

I am so proud of these two guys. Phenomenal athletes who have given their heart and soul to Blackman. Goos luck, fellas. We will miss seeing you play, but hopefully everyone will keep us posted on your journey.
