Great job on beating SC but I have to say Marion will play it's last game of the season next Friday night. BBS is playing better than ever. QB will be the diffrence in this game from week 2.

I think Boyd wins but much much closer than that 42 to something prediction. I say by 7 - 10. But, I think it will be a good one to watch. Congrats to both teams and I hope this thread can stay classy, but then again us "private school folks" do get ahead of ourselves alot and need to relax. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Agreed... Both teams have shed off there skins from earlier in the season and the new and improved version of both are playing some serious ball ... I see another game coming down to the last few ticks ... However, Boyd i must warn you the new... "Scrappified"...Warriors find a way to stay in ball games, no matter how hard ya hit'um...

 

St. Christopher's Dictionary:

 

Scrappified- The past tense of scrappifing, meaning to be made scrappy...

Scrappy- Taking jabs and throwing hay makers, and or, never running out of the will to fight...

That is so true stchristopher those Might Warriors never cease to amaze me with their will to never give up and to fight till the bitter end. Should be a really good hard hitting game. I myself am looking forward to this rematch!!!

After watching both teams play I have to go with Boyd. Marion is a good team, and should be a great game. But Boyd's QB is the stuff. Sorry marion fans.

 

lol Didnt see his name on ne Mr Football Awards list so sorry no he isnt he might be a good QB but as for him being the stuff I think Chris Martin has had a better year than him!

Reaction, I was hoping to make the trip down there next week to watch the Owls play against you all, but obviously, the Owls didn't overcome a tough outing by the Warriors. I was so looking forward to seeing and talking to one of my favorite coaches in all my days of playing HS football in Coach Robbins. Someone said he was the defensive coordinator now. Is that right?

 

The last I heard he was the principal or assistant prinicipal or whatever a private school calls them. Is he still doing that as well?

      Not sure what you mean? 40 TOTAL? Macon is a good team no doubt, but I believe they've only scored 35 total points against Uppeeman the last two years, and that's over three games.

The undue influence of politics on high school sports remains a pervasive issue, detracting from the integrity of athletic programs.  The proliferation of individuals driven by a thirst for power inevitably precipitates the downfall of any program.       From what we are hearing on the reservation we will be lucky to beat sunbright. And trust me I am not throwing stones at them because they play their hearts out. It’s a tuff game every year, just like Oakdale but when you have small numbers that’s what you get. And then you add in that you loose two top linemen and the starting qb!!!! Along with a running back!  We are in deep trouble.
