Playoff games televised?

I'm out of state but I own a satellite that can catch regional channels in Tennessee.

 

Are there any stations that show the high school playoff games? Or any radio stations that stream live broadcasts online?

 

It seems like a huge missed opportunity if stations don't televise these games.

 

I'm sure Super Nanny and Wife Swap bring in such better ratings than these games do. righhht.

 

Let me know if any of you can shed light on this subject or have a way to help me out.

 

As a former Franklin Rebel, I'd love to see their huge rematch in the playoffs this Friday.

You can televise a play-off game. You just have to pay for it. The only game you can't televise is the Championship game because CSS has the rights.

Don't know about a live game, but a tape delay of a play-off games yes. For the lat 2 years there was a guy doing it in Knoxville but not this year. Advertising $$$ wasn't what it used be be in today's economy.

CoachT, do you if CSS will broadcast the games regionally or only in the local markets (Knoxville, Nashville)? In the Tri-Cities, we get the regional CSS broadcast so we may get the Tennessee games or we may get the Alabama games...depending on which games they decide to broadcast regionally.

The Championship should be in all markets. Next year's regular season may be different for the Tri-Cities. There's been some changes at Comcast.

I have been living in NC for eight years, my home is West Tn and it has been a task connecting to games by

 

internet radio. In the spring I got a chance to watch the State Basketball Championship on the computer. But it

 

would be nice to watch the games by satellite tv. Whats the possibility of this happening because I see alot of other

 

states show caseing there high school sports on Direct TV.
