Any u-14 Girl teams doing indoor tournaments ?

I am going to take our u-14 girls team up to Brentwood for one of their indoor tournaments at the Crockett Arena on January 10/11th.... I believe it is part of the Brentwood Soccer Club's winter series....Anyone else playing there ? We would love to see some competitive teams...since we have had trouble with strong competition, historically, here in Chattanooga...

Silverbacks Men Sit Out 2009 Season

ATLANTA- The Atlanta Silverbacks announced today that the Atlanta Silverbacks Men??™s professional team will take the 2009 season off.

 

Due to the state of the economy and the potential of an MLS team coming to town, the men??™s pro team has decided to sit the year out while the Silverbacks assess the landscape.

 

???This was an extremely difficult decision that was prompted by the dynamic events in our economy and the soccer community. We would like to thank all of our fans and partners who have supported the team over the years and hope they continue to come out to the Women??™s games,??? said Atlanta Silverbacks General Manager, Michael Oki.

 

The Silverbacks Men had an impressive 2007 season, advancing to the USL League Finals and also received player accolades as David Hayes was named Defender of the Year. In 2008, after a host of injuries and close games, the Silverbacks ended an up-and-down season after being just shy of clinching a playoff spot.

Are you saying that since Champs team can't find any good compention in Chatt town to play that they should play the Silverbacks. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

I was a little curious about that post also, but hey, I'll ask the girls about a match up with them,since they look like they will have some free time now...they like to smack up on boys when they get a chance...HAHAHAHA

Actually, I was wrong with the field location...the BOYS are playing at the Crockett Arena that weekend, my team will be playing at the TNFC event at Robert Ring Arena, January 9-11...The deadline has passed, but I would like to post a challenge to any local Nashville team to play, since my team will be travelling up from Chattanooga...We would love some tough games !

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
