If you aren't willing to put in the time it takes to have a good team then you never were really a player at heart. It takes long hours in the gym and the weight room to get better. Most anybody can pick up a ball and run a few sprints, but its the players that are willing to go the extra mile that are district MVP's, regional MVP's, etc. Its those girls that will lead their teams to state titles. Leadership and determination are the qualities coaches look for in their players. What's the point in playing if you don't have the desire to work hard and be a team that wins games and has successful seasons. I play too! We go year round legally. Cross country for conditioning, summer camps, long hot work outs in the weight rooms and in the gyms. Practicing hours every day after school from the week of November 1st until the opening game. Then playing 3 or 4 times a week and practicing the days when we have no game. If your gonna play the game then PLAY THE GAME!
