They could have scored 100 on this team even with the clock going in the second half, but think whatever you want to think. It was 20-2 with 4:30 left in the first quarter. If you're mad about a Hixson game, talk about that one in another post.

Well since you mentioned it Hixson Starts 3 freshmen with weak middle school backgrounds, a Junior that is overweight and never played before and a junior that has limited experience. Their bench is 3 freshmen and a 2 juniors that have not played before. So I'm sure most teams they play could beat them 100-10 with a bunch of seniors, juniors etc. But, I personally think it is totally classless to be pressing in 4th with your 3 senior starters up 50 on a team I'm quite sure many people agree with this. Hixson is building a program where the last team that won anything to speak of was 1968 they have a great coach and great group of young players with more heart than talent but I still feel that beating a team like Howard or Hixson by 100-0 really proves less about your programs than having a little class and considering the kids going through a terrible season hoping to make a program better than it was when they found it as freshmen. I was not referring to Hixson but since you called them out it is succinct example. Coaches should keep in mind however, these games aren't simply about them and their records these are 14-15-16 year old girls making an effort to play a game. I feel sometimes the coaches lose perspective of this. Maybe everyone should just get the coaches to play one on one and winner wins the game. Quite sure Hixson would come out very well in that game.

    • Same with Eisfelder from Providence not even getting a look in DII 1A.   But to me the biggest head scratcher is Collins from Lookout Valley. He wasn't even voted the best pitcher or player on his own team, a team that lost like 20 baseball games. Mind blowing.
    • Whispers abound suggesting that Robbie Atwood has been observed surreptitiously shadowing the erstwhile football coach on numerous occasions. Does such conduct align with the standards of acceptability?
    • Is it conceivable that BJ West will maintain his ardor if it necessitates forgoing attendance at his progeny's culminating year of scholastic endeavors? Such a scenario appears implausible upon closer scrutiny.
    • Wartburg heading to state for the first time in school history. Braylen Melton (sophomore) threw a 1 hitter today against North Greene.
    • I havent kept up with Keeton since he went to Oakland, so hearing he is in a BOE role now, that may trump him coming back.  Rennard on the other hand. That dude is a Man Builder! And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few months back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.
