Just got done checking out the scheldule's for the area team. Riverdale and Siegel have a stout one in the 09' Classic. Can't wait to see it shake out.

Farragut won state. bartlett was second...again.

 

 

Sometimes ya post something to make sure folks are checking - I was there (was running the scoreboard) when Coach Clark lost to Coach Pharr - pretty good game - Bartlett rallied to tie it and then Farragut pulled away...

This tourney has a great field. Unfortunately with most teams having district games right before and/or right after, expect a bunch of JV pitching and lots of runs. Not a bad thing, just hard to justify throwing your ace out there in the middle of district games.

Germantown has tryouts next week. As soon as our "official" roster is released I'll make sure you get the list for the tournament!!

Germantown has 4 of their seniors(waiting on the 4th to sign) committed to play at the next level and two will probably be drafted!! Our defense is going to hard to beat!! Lot of speed on the bases. Coach Nesbit has a great group this year....

I hope your not having tryouts next week, cause if you are that's a no-no. The TSSAA would love to hear about that. Official start date is not until February 9th.
